What a GREAT first day in the Frankenjura after coming back from the US the day before! The BBP (Bishop Bouldering Power) allowed me to climb "Montecore" 8C (8B+) and "Riot Act" 8b+ (8B/+) within a few hours yesterday! Now psyched for the LaSpo Legends Only Competition in Stockholm this weekend!

Mit „Montecore 8c“ gelang Manu Brunn kürzlich sein erster 8C bloc Boulder. Damit sichert sich Manu die 3.Wiederholung. Montecore wurde 2005 von Marcus Bock erstbegangen.

Fabian Christof wiederholt das Testpiece "MONTECORE" 8c
Fabian Christof gelang am 30.03.2011 mit der Wiederholung von "Montecore" 8c das bisher 2. schwerste Boulderproblem der Fränkischen Schweiz.
"Montecore" wurde 2005 durch Markus Bock erstbegangen. Dai Koyamada sicherte sich 2007 die erste Wiederholung.

Dai Koyamada gelang gestern die erste Wiederholung von "Montecore" 8c. Dieses Boulderproblem wurde von Markus Bock erstbegangen. Es stellt die logische Verbindung der Boulder "Alpha Mann" und "Omega Mann" dar und einer Verlängerung am Anfang des Blockes. "Montecore" stellt das Gesamtproblem des Schildes dar.
Dai sein Kommentar zu Montecore:
"I ascented Monte Core just now. I felt much harder than Alphamann and felt like 8b+/c. I'm so glad 'cause I fell 3times at the last move."
Anschließend konnte Dai noch "Mr. Bombastic" 8a wiederholen.
Dai repeated Montecore
Dai Koyamada succeeded yesterday at the 2nd ascent of „Montecore“ 8c. The boulder problem was intitially climbed by Markus Bock. It is basically the logical connection between the two boulder „Alpha Mann“ and „Omega Mann“ and an extension at the start of the block. „Montecore“ represents the entire problem of the shield.
